योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-119, verse-13

हेमतां वर्जयित्वैकां विद्यते हेम्नि नेतरत् ।
ऊर्मिकाकटकादित्वं तैलादिसिकतास्विव ॥ १३ ॥
hematāṃ varjayitvaikāṃ vidyate hemni netarat ,
ūrmikākaṭakāditvaṃ tailādisikatāsviva 13

13. Excluding its singular goldness, nothing else exists within gold. The qualities of being a ring or a bracelet, for instance, are like oil and other substances in sand, distinct from the sand itself.
