वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-3, verse-23

एवमुक्तस्तु पुत्रेण विश्रवा मुनिपुंगवः ।
वचनं प्राह धर्मज्ञ श्रूयतामिति धर्मवित् ॥२३॥
23. evamuktastu putreṇa viśravā munipuṃgavaḥ ,
vacanaṃ prāha dharmajña śrūyatāmiti dharmavit.
23. evam uktaḥ tu putreṇa viśravāḥ munipuṅgavaḥ
vacanam prāha dharmajña śrūyatām iti dharmavit
23. Thus addressed by his son, Viśravas, the foremost among sages and a knower of natural law (dharma), spoke these words to his son, who also understood natural law (dharma), saying, 'Listen!'
