वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-3, verse-22

तत् पश्य भगवन् कं चिद्देशं वासाय नः प्रभो ।
न च पीडा भवेद् यत्र प्राणिनो यस्य कस्य चित् ॥२२॥
22. tat paśya bhagavan kaṃ ciddeśaṃ vāsāya naḥ prabho ,
na ca pīḍā bhaved yatra prāṇino yasya kasya cit.
22. tat paśya bhagavan kam cit deśam vāsāya naḥ prabho
na ca pīḍā bhavet yatra prāṇinaḥ yasya kasya cit
22. tat bhagavan prabho naḥ vāsāya kam cit deśam paśya
yatra yasya kasya cit prāṇinaḥ ca pīḍā na bhavet
22. Therefore, O venerable lord, please look for some place for us to reside, where there may be no harm to any living being whatsoever.
