वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-15, verse-26

ततो मायां प्रविष्टः स राक्षसीं राक्षसेश्वरः ।
जघान मूर्ध्नि धनदं व्याविध्य महतीं गदाम् ॥२६॥
26. tato māyāṃ praviṣṭaḥ sa rākṣasīṃ rākṣaseśvaraḥ ,
jaghāna mūrdhni dhanadaṃ vyāvidhya mahatīṃ gadām.

26. Then that lord of rākṣasas (rākṣaseśvaraḥ), having entered into a rākṣasa-like illusion (māyā), struck Dhanada on the head, whirling a great mace.
