वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-15, verse-15

यो हि मोहाद्विषं पीत्वा नावगच्छति मानवः ।
परिणामे स वि मूढो जानीते कर्मणः फलम् ॥१५॥
15. yo hi mohādviṣaṃ pītvā nāvagacchati mānavaḥ ,
pariṇāme sa vi mūḍho jānīte karmaṇaḥ phalam.
15. yaḥ hi mohāt viṣam pītvā na avagacchati mānavaḥ
pariṇāme sa vimūḍhaḥ jānīte karmaṇaḥ phalam
15. yaḥ hi mānavaḥ mohāt viṣam pītvā na avagacchati,
saḥ vimūḍhaḥ pariṇāme karmaṇaḥ phalam jānīte
15. Indeed, a human being who, out of delusion, drinks poison and does not comprehend its nature, that deluded person eventually understands the consequence of their action (karma).
