ततो राक्षसराजेन ताडितो गदया रणे ।
तस्य तेन प्रहारेण मुकुटः पार्श्वमागतः ।

10. tataḥ rākṣasarājena raṇe gadayā
tāḍitaḥ tasya tena prahāreṇa mukuṭaḥ
pārśvam āgataḥ tadā prabhṛti
asau yakṣaḥ pārśvamauliḥ iti smṛtaḥ

10. Then, struck by the king of rākṣasas with a mace in battle, his crown shifted to the side due to that blow. From that time onwards, that yakṣa has been known as Pārśvamauli, 'the one with the crown on his side'.
