अब्रवीच्च तदा रामं सप्रतोदो रथे स्थितः ।
प्राञ्जलिर्मातलिर्वाक्यं सहस्राक्षस्य सारथिः ॥८॥

8. Then, Matali, the charioteer of the thousand-eyed (Indra), standing in the chariot with a goad and with folded hands, spoke words to Rama.
