वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-39, verse-17

यथैव मां वनं यान्तमनुयातो महाद्युतिः ।
अहमप्यनुयास्यामि तथैवैनं यमक्षयम् ॥१७॥
17. yathaiva māṃ vanaṃ yāntamanuyāto mahādyutiḥ ,
ahamapyanuyāsyāmi tathaivainaṃ yamakṣayam.
17. yathā eva mām vanam yāntam anuyātaḥ mahādyutiḥ
aham api anuyāsyāmi tathā eva enam yama-kṣayam
17. yathā eva mahādyutiḥ mām vanam yāntam anuyātaḥ,
tathā eva aham api enam yama-kṣayam anuyāsyāmi.
17. Just as the exceedingly glorious one followed me when I went to the forest, so too I shall follow him to the abode of Yama.
