वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-38, verse-7

नचिरात्तं हनिष्यामि रावणं निशितैः शरैः ।
पौलोम्याः पितरं दृप्तं शतक्रतुरिवारिहा ॥७॥
7. nacirāttaṃ haniṣyāmi rāvaṇaṃ niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ,
paulomyāḥ pitaraṃ dṛptaṃ śatakraturivārihā.
7. na cirāt tam haniṣyāmi rāvaṇam niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ
| paulomyāḥ pitaram dṛptam śatakratuḥ iva arihā
7. Na cirāt,
niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ tam rāvaṇam haniṣyāmi,
yathā arihā śatakratuḥ paulomyāḥ dṛptam pitaram (ajaghāna).
7. Soon, I shall slay that Rāvaṇa with sharp arrows, just as Śatakratu, the slayer of enemies (arihā), (slew) Paulomī's arrogant father.
