वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-27, verse-12

तं सिंहमिव विक्रान्तं सिंहविक्रान्तगामिनम् ।
दृष्ट्वा नोद्विजते रामः सिंहः क्षुद्रमृगं यथा ॥१२॥
12. taṃ siṃhamiva vikrāntaṃ siṃhavikrāntagāminam ,
dṛṣṭvā nodvijate rāmaḥ siṃhaḥ kṣudramṛgaṃ yathā.

12. Even upon seeing him, who was mighty like a lion and walked with the valorous gait of a lion, Rama was not disturbed, just as a lion is not bothered by a small animal.
