वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-58, verse-22

नय नौ नृप तं देशमिति मां चाभ्यभाषत ।
अद्य तं द्रष्टुमिच्छावः पुत्रं पश्चिमदर्शनम् ॥२२॥
22. naya nau nṛpa taṃ deśamiti māṃ cābhyabhāṣata ,
adya taṃ draṣṭumicchāvaḥ putraṃ paścimadarśanam.
22. naya nau nṛpa tam deśam iti mām ca abhyabhāṣata
adya tam draṣṭum icchāvaḥ putram paścimadarśanam
22. nṛpa nau tam deśam naya iti ca mām abhyabhāṣata
adya tam putram paścimadarśanam draṣṭum icchāvaḥ
22. "O king, lead us two to that place," he also said to me. "Today we wish to see our son for the last time."
