वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-58, verse-17

अज्ञानाद्भवतः पुत्रः सहसाभिहतो मया ।
शेषमेवंगते यत् स्यात्तत् प्रसीदतु मे मुनिः ॥१७॥
17. ajñānādbhavataḥ putraḥ sahasābhihato mayā ,
śeṣamevaṃgate yat syāttat prasīdatu me muniḥ.

śeṣam evaṃgate yat syāt tat prasīdatu me muniḥ

17. Unknowingly, and by accident, your son was killed by me. Now that this has happened, whatever remains, may the sage forgive me for it.
