वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-51, verse-30

ततस्तमन्तःपुरनादमुत्थितं समीक्ष्य वृद्धास्तरुणाश्च मानवाः ।
स्त्रियश्च सर्वा रुरुदुः समन्ततः पुरं तदासीत् पुनरेव संकुलम् ॥३०॥
30. tatastamantaḥpuranādamutthitaṃ samīkṣya vṛddhāstaruṇāśca mānavāḥ ,
striyaśca sarvā ruruduḥ samantataḥ puraṃ tadāsīt punareva saṃkulam.

30. Upon seeing that noise arising from within the palace, all the people—old and young alike—and all the women cried out from all sides. The palace then became agitated and chaotic once more.
