हृदयेष्ववतिष्ठन्ते वेदा ये नः परं धनम् ।
वत्स्यन्त्यपि गृहेष्वेव दाराश्चारित्ररक्षिताः ॥२३॥

23. hṛdayeṣvavatiṣṭhante vedā ye naḥ paraṃ dhanam ,
vatsyantyapi gṛheṣveva dārāścāritrarakṣitāḥ.

23. ye vedāḥ naḥ param dhanam (santi),

ca cāritra-rakṣitāḥ dārāḥ api gṛheṣu eva vatsyanti.

23. The Vedas, which are our supreme treasure, reside in our hearts. And our wives, protected by their good conduct (cāritra), will also remain in our homes.
