ज्येष्ठायामसि मे पत्न्यां सदृश्यां सदृशः सुतः ।
उत्पन्नस्त्वं गुणश्रेष्ठो मम रामात्मजः प्रियः ॥२३॥

23. jyeṣṭhāyāmasi me patnyāṃ sadṛśyāṃ sadṛśaḥ sutaḥ ,
utpannastvaṃ guṇaśreṣṭho mama rāmātmajaḥ priyaḥ.

23. O Rāma, you, my dear son, are born from my eldest, suitable wife, similar (to me), and the best in qualities.
