वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-23, verse-26

याते च मयि कल्याणि वनं मुनिनिषेवितम् ।
व्रतोपवासरतया भवितव्यं त्वयानघे ॥२६॥
26. yāte ca mayi kalyāṇi vanaṃ muniniṣevitam ,
vratopavāsaratayā bhavitavyaṃ tvayānaghe.

26. And when I have departed for the forest, O auspicious one, which is frequented by sages, you, O sinless one, must dedicate yourself to vows (vrata) and fasts.
