वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-102, verse-7

इक्ष्वाकोस्तु सुतः श्रीमान् कुक्षिरेवेति विश्रुतः ।
कुक्षेरथात्मजो वीरो विकुक्षिरुदपद्यत ॥७॥
7. ikṣvākostu sutaḥ śrīmān kukṣireveti viśrutaḥ ,
kukṣerathātmajo vīro vikukṣirudapadyata.
7. ikṣvākoḥ tu sutaḥ śrīmān kukṣiḥ eva iti viśrutaḥ
kukṣeḥ atha ātmajaḥ vīraḥ vikukṣiḥ udapadyata
7. ikṣvākoḥ tu śrīmān sutaḥ kukṣiḥ eva iti viśrutaḥ
atha kukṣeḥ vīraḥ ātmajaḥ vikukṣiḥ udapadyata
7. Indeed, the glorious son of Ikṣvāku was renowned as Kukṣi. From Kukṣi, then, was born the heroic son Vikukṣi.
