मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-88, verse-8

स च सिंहो महानादमतीव कृतवान् नृप ।
घण्टास्वनेन तन्नादमम्बिका चाप्यबृंहयत् ॥८॥
8. sa ca siṃho mahānādamatīva kṛtavān nṛpa .
ghaṇṭāsvanena tannādamambikā cāpyabṛṃhayat.
8. saḥ ca siṃhaḥ mahānādam atīva kṛtavān nṛpa
ghaṇṭāsvanena tat nādam ambikā ca api abṛṃhayat
8. And that lion, O king, let out an exceedingly great roar. Ambika, too, amplified that roar with the sound of her bell.
