मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-88, verse-10

तं निनादमुपश्रुत्य दैत्यसैन्यैश्चतुर्दिशम् ।
देवी सिंहस्तथा काली सरोषैः परिवारिताः ॥१०॥
10. taṃ ninādamupaśrutya daityasainyaiścaturdiśam .
devī siṃhastathā kālī saroṣaiḥ parivāritāḥ.

10. Having heard that roar, the Goddess, her lion, and Kāli were surrounded on all four sides by the enraged demon armies.
