मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-88, verse-55

ऋषिरुवाच ।
इत्युक्त्वा तां ततो देवी शूलेनाभिजघान तम् ।
मुखेन काली जगृहे रक्तबीजस्य सोणितम् ॥५५॥
55. ṛṣiruvāca .
ityuktvā tāṃ tato devī śūlenābhijaghāna tam .
mukhena kālī jagṛhe raktabījasya soṇitam.
55. ṛṣiḥ uvāca iti uktvā tām tataḥ devī śūlena abhijaghāna
tam mukhena kālī jagṛhe raktabījasya śoṇitam
55. The sage said: Having spoken thus to her, the Goddess then struck him (Raktābīja) with her spear. Meanwhile, Kālī received Raktābīja's blood with her mouth.
