मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-62, verse-22

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
आत्मप्रभावेण ततस्तस्य रूपं द्विजन्मनः ।
कृत्वा चचार यत्रास्ते निषण्णा सा वरूथिनी ॥२२॥
22. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
ātmaprabhāveṇa tatastasya rūpaṃ dvijanmanaḥ .
kṛtvā cacāra yatrāste niṣaṇṇā sā varūthinī.
22. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca ātmaprabhāveṇa tataḥ tasya rūpam
dvijanmanaḥ kṛtvā cacāra yatra āste niṣaṇṇā sā varūthinī
22. Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then, by his own power (ātman), having assumed the form of that brahmin (dvijanman), he went to where Varūthinī was seated.
