मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-62, verse-11

क्वागताहमिमं शैलं दुष्टदैवबलात्कृता ।
क्व च प्राप्तः स मे दृष्टेर्गोचरं तादृशो नरः ॥११॥
11. kvāgatāhamimaṃ śailaṃ duṣṭadaivabalātkṛtā .
kva ca prāptaḥ sa me dṛṣṭergocaraṃ tādṛśo naraḥ.
11. kva āgatā aham imam śailam duṣṭadaivabalātkṛtā
kva ca prāptaḥ sa me dṛṣṭeḥ gocaram tādṛśaḥ naraḥ
11. How did I, compelled by the power of cruel destiny, come to this mountain? And how did such a man come into my sight?
