मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-62, verse-14

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
इत्थं सा मदनाविष्टा जगाम मुनिसत्तम ।
ववृधे च तदा रागस्तस्यास्तस्मिन् प्रतिक्षणम् ॥१४॥
14. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
itthaṃ sā madanāviṣṭā jagāma munisattama .
vavṛdhe ca tadā rāgastasyāstasmin pratikṣaṇam.
14. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca itthaṃ sā madanāviṣṭā jagāma munisattama
vavṛdhe ca tadā rāgaḥ tasyāḥ tasmin pratikṣaṇam
14. Mārkaṇḍeya said: "O best of sages, thus, she proceeded, overcome by love (madana), and then her passion for him increased moment by moment."
