महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-65, verse-12

महोर्मिणमिवोद्धूतं श्वसनेन महार्णवम् ।
किरीटी तद्गजानीकं प्राविशन्मकरो यथा ॥१२॥
12. mahormiṇamivoddhūtaṁ śvasanena mahārṇavam ,
kirīṭī tadgajānīkaṁ prāviśanmakaro yathā.
12. mahā-ūrmiṇam iva uddhūtam śvasanena mahārṇavam
kirīṭī tad-gajānikam prāviśat makaraḥ yathā
12. yathā makaraḥ śvasanena uddhūtam mahā-ūrmiṇam mahārṇavam (prāviśat),

12. Just as a crocodile enters a great ocean agitated by the wind and filled with mighty waves, so too did Kirīṭī (Arjuna) enter that elephant army.
