महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-58, verse-16

अक्षतैः सुमनोभिश्च वाचयित्वा महाभुजः ।
तान्द्विजान्मधुसर्पिर्भ्यां फलैः श्रेष्ठैः सुमङ्गलैः ॥१६॥
16. akṣataiḥ sumanobhiśca vācayitvā mahābhujaḥ ,
tāndvijānmadhusarpirbhyāṁ phalaiḥ śreṣṭhaiḥ sumaṅgalaiḥ.
16. अक्षतैः सुमनोभिः च वाचयित्वा महाभुजः तान् द्विजान्
मधुसर्पिर्भ्याम् फलैः श्रेष्ठैः सुमङ्गलैः
16. महाभुजः अक्षतैः च सुमनोभिः तान् द्विजान् वाचयित्वा
मधुसर्पिर्भ्याम् श्रेष्ठैः सुमङ्गलैः फलैः
16. The mighty-armed one (mahābhuja), having caused those Brahmins (dvija) to recite blessings with unbroken grains of rice (akṣata) and flowers (sumanas), [honored them] with honey and ghee (madhusarpis), and with excellent, very auspicious fruits.
