महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-58, verse-14

द्वितीयां पुरुषव्याघ्रः कक्ष्यां निष्क्रम्य पार्थिवः ।
तत्र वेदविदो विप्रानपश्यद्ब्राह्मणर्षभान् ॥१४॥
14. dvitīyāṁ puruṣavyāghraḥ kakṣyāṁ niṣkramya pārthivaḥ ,
tatra vedavido viprānapaśyadbrāhmaṇarṣabhān.

तत्र वेदविदः विप्रान् अपश्यत् ब्राह्मणर्षभान्

14. The king (pārthiva), that tiger among men (puruṣavyāghra), having exited the second chamber, saw there Brahmins (vipra), who were knowers of the Vedas and foremost among Brahmins.
