महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-34, verse-8

महौघाः सलिलस्येव गिरिमासाद्य दुर्भिदम् ।
द्रोणं ते नाभ्यवर्तन्त वेलामिव जलाशयाः ॥८॥
8. mahaughāḥ salilasyeva girimāsādya durbhidam ,
droṇaṁ te nābhyavartanta velāmiva jalāśayāḥ.

droṇam te na abhyavartanta velām iva jalāśayāḥ
8. salilasya mahaughāḥ iva durbhidam girim āsādya,
te droṇam na abhyavartanta,

8. Like mighty torrents of water reaching an impassable mountain, they could not overcome Droṇa, just as rivers do not transgress their banks.
