महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-17, verse-26

ते वध्यमानाः पार्थेन शरैः संनतपर्वभिः ।
अमुह्यंस्तत्र तत्रैव त्रस्ता मृगगणा इव ॥२६॥
26. te vadhyamānāḥ pārthena śaraiḥ saṁnataparvabhiḥ ,
amuhyaṁstatra tatraiva trastā mṛgagaṇā iva.

26. As they were being struck down by Pārtha (Arjuna) with arrows that had bent shafts, they became bewildered right there, like frightened herds of deer.
