महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-155, verse-17

गाण्डीवमायम्य भवांश्चक्रं वाहं सुदर्शनम् ।
न शक्तौ स्वो रणे जेतुं तथायुक्तं नरर्षभम् ॥१७॥
17. gāṇḍīvamāyamya bhavāṁścakraṁ vāhaṁ sudarśanam ,
na śaktau svo raṇe jetuṁ tathāyuktaṁ nararṣabham.
17. gāṇḍīvaṃ āyamya bhavān ca cakraṃ vāhaṃ sudarśanam
na śaktau svaḥ raṇe jetuṃ tathāyuktam nararṣabham
17. aham gāṇḍīvaṃ āyamya,
bhavān ca sudarśanam cakraṃ vāhaṃ [dhārayan api],
raṇe tathāyuktam nararṣabham jetuṃ na śaktau svaḥ
17. Even after I have drawn my Gaṇḍīva bow, and you are wielding your Sudarśana discus, we two would not be able to conquer that best among men (Karna), who is thus empowered, in battle.
