महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-8, verse-1

धृतराष्ट्र उवाच ।
मेरोरथोत्तरं पार्श्वं पूर्वं चाचक्ष्व संजय ।
निखिलेन महाबुद्धे माल्यवन्तं च पर्वतम् ॥१॥
1. dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca ,
merorathottaraṁ pārśvaṁ pūrvaṁ cācakṣva saṁjaya ,
nikhilena mahābuddhe mālyavantaṁ ca parvatam.

ācakṣva saṃjaya nikhilena mahābuddhe mālyavantam ca parvatam
1. dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ uvāca saṃjaya,

meroḥ uttaram ca pūrvam pārśvam atha mālyavantam parvatam ca nikhilena ācakṣva.
1. Dhritarashtra said: O Sanjaya, O highly intelligent one (mahābuddhe), please describe to me in its entirety the northern and eastern sides of Mount Meru, and also Mount Mālyavat.
