महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-2, verse-7

धृतराष्ट्र उवाच ।
न रोचये ज्ञातिवधं द्रष्टुं ब्रह्मर्षिसत्तम ।
युद्धमेतत्त्वशेषेण शृणुयां तव तेजसा ॥७॥
7. dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca ,
na rocaye jñātivadhaṁ draṣṭuṁ brahmarṣisattama ,
yuddhametattvaśeṣeṇa śṛṇuyāṁ tava tejasā.

7. Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: "O best of the brahmarṣis, I do not wish to see the slaughter of kinsmen. But I would hear of this entire battle through your divine power."
