महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-1, verse-19

यथा सिंहस्य नदतः स्वनं श्रुत्वेतरे मृगाः ।
त्रसेयुस्तद्वदेवासीद्धार्तराष्ट्रबलं तदा ॥१९॥
19. yathā siṁhasya nadataḥ svanaṁ śrutvetare mṛgāḥ ,
traseyustadvadevāsīddhārtarāṣṭrabalaṁ tadā.

19. Just as other animals (mṛgāḥ), upon hearing the roar of a thundering lion, would become terrified, so too, at that moment, was the army of Dhṛtarāṣṭra.
