यथा सिंहस्य नदतः स्वनं श्रुत्वेतरे मृगाः ।

19. Just as other animals (mṛgāḥ), upon hearing the roar of a thundering lion, would become terrified, so too, at that moment, was the army of Dhṛtarāṣṭra.
