tau vivādamanuprāptau śakunau mṛtyusaṁdhitau ,
vigṛhya ca sudurbuddhī pṛthivyāṁ saṁnipetatuḥ.

Vidura said, 'Those two birds, bound by death, fell into a dispute. And those two exceedingly foolish ones, having fought, plummeted to the earth.'
