महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-60, verse-22

भविष्यतीदमिति वा यद्ब्रवीमि परंतप ।
नान्यथा भूतपूर्वं तत्सत्यवागिति मां विदुः ॥२२॥
22. bhaviṣyatīdamiti vā yadbravīmi paraṁtapa ,
nānyathā bhūtapūrvaṁ tatsatyavāgiti māṁ viduḥ.
22. bhaviṣyati idam iti vā yat bravīmi paraṃtapa na
anyathā bhūtapūrvam tat satyavāk iti mām viduḥ
22. O scorcher of foes (paraṃtapa), whatever I declare—whether it is 'this will happen' or 'this has happened before'—it never turns out otherwise. Therefore, people know me as a speaker of truth.
