महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-60, verse-13

अश्मवर्षं च वायुं च शमयामीह नित्यशः ।
जगतः पश्यतोऽभीक्ष्णं भूतानामनुकम्पया ॥१३॥
13. aśmavarṣaṁ ca vāyuṁ ca śamayāmīha nityaśaḥ ,
jagataḥ paśyato'bhīkṣṇaṁ bhūtānāmanukampayā.
13. aśmavarṣam ca vāyum ca śamayāmi iha nityaśaḥ
jagataḥ paśyataḥ abhīkṣṇam bhūtānām anukampayā
13. Here, I constantly pacify the rain of stones and the wind, out of compassion for all beings (bhūta), as the world watches intently.
