महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-15, verse-27

तस्माच्च भगवान्देवः स्वयमेव हुताशनः ।
स्त्रीवेषमद्भुतं कृत्वा सहसान्तरधीयत ॥२७॥
27. tasmācca bhagavāndevaḥ svayameva hutāśanaḥ ,
strīveṣamadbhutaṁ kṛtvā sahasāntaradhīyata.
27. tasmāt ca bhagavān devaḥ svayam eva hutāśanaḥ
strīveṣam adbhutam kṛtvā sahasā antaradhīyata
27. And from that point, the divine Lord Agni (hutāśanaḥ) himself, having assumed an astonishing female disguise, suddenly disappeared.
