महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-19, verse-25

किं नु वक्ष्यति सम्राण्मां वर्णकः सुकृतो न वा ।
नान्यपिष्टं हि मत्स्यस्य चन्दनं किल रोचते ॥२५॥
25. kiṁ nu vakṣyati samrāṇmāṁ varṇakaḥ sukṛto na vā ,
nānyapiṣṭaṁ hi matsyasya candanaṁ kila rocate.
25. kim nu vakṣyati samrāṭ mām varṇakaḥ sukṛtaḥ na vā
na anyapiṣṭaṃ hi matsyasya candanaṃ kila rocate
25. What will the Emperor say to me? (He will observe) whether the cosmetic work is well-done or not. Indeed, it is said that sandalwood paste prepared by another is not pleasing to the Matsya queen.
