महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-19, verse-3

अनित्या किल मर्त्यानामर्थसिद्धिर्जयाजयौ ।
इति कृत्वा प्रतीक्षामि भर्तॄणामुदयं पुनः ॥३॥
3. anityā kila martyānāmarthasiddhirjayājayau ,
iti kṛtvā pratīkṣāmi bhartṝṇāmudayaṁ punaḥ.
3. anityā kila martyānām arthasiddhiḥ jaya ajayau
iti kṛtvā pratīkṣāmi bhartṝṇām udayam punaḥ
3. Indeed, for mortals, the fulfillment of objectives, whether victory or defeat, is impermanent. Knowing this, I again await the prosperity of my masters.
