महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-36, verse-24

बृहच्छाल इवानूपे शाखापुष्पपलाशवान् ।
हस्ती श्वेत इवाज्ञातः कथं जिष्णुश्चरिष्यति ॥२४॥
24. bṛhacchāla ivānūpe śākhāpuṣpapalāśavān ,
hastī śveta ivājñātaḥ kathaṁ jiṣṇuścariṣyati.
