महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-299, verse-9

राजन्विद्वान्भवान्दान्तः सत्यसंधो जितेन्द्रियः ।
नैवंविधाः प्रमुह्यन्ति नराः कस्यांचिदापदि ॥९॥
9. rājanvidvānbhavāndāntaḥ satyasaṁdho jitendriyaḥ ,
naivaṁvidhāḥ pramuhyanti narāḥ kasyāṁcidāpadi.
9. rājan vidvān bhavān dāntaḥ satyasaṃdhaḥ jitendriyaḥ
na evam vidhāḥ pramuhyanti narāḥ kasyāṃcit āpadi
9. O King, you are learned, self-controlled, committed to truth (satyasaṃdha), and have conquered your senses (jitendriya). Men of such character do not become bewildered in any calamity.
