महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-299, verse-28

क्रोशमात्रमतिक्रम्य तस्माद्देशान्निमित्ततः ।
श्वोभूते मनुजव्याघ्राश्छन्नवासार्थमुद्यताः ॥२८॥
28. krośamātramatikramya tasmāddeśānnimittataḥ ,
śvobhūte manujavyāghrāśchannavāsārthamudyatāḥ.
28. krośamātram atikramya tasmāt deśāt nimittataḥ
śvobhūte manujavyāghrāḥ channavāsārtham udyatāḥ
28. On the next day, having traveled just one krosa from that spot for a particular reason, those tigers among men were prepared for their period of living in concealment.
