महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-22, verse-3

तानाशुगैरापततोऽहमाशु निवार्य तूर्णं खगमान्ख एव ।
द्विधा त्रिधा चाच्छिनमाशु मुक्तैस्ततोऽन्तरिक्षे निनदो बभूव ॥३॥
3. tānāśugairāpatato'hamāśu; nivārya tūrṇaṁ khagamānkha eva ,
dvidhā tridhā cācchinamāśu muktai;stato'ntarikṣe ninado babhūva.
3. tān āśugaiḥ āpatataḥ aham āśu
nivārya tūrṇam khagamān khe eva
dvidhā tridhā ca acchinam āśu muktaiḥ
tataḥ antarikṣe ninadaḥ babhūva
3. With my swift arrows, I quickly warded off those (weapons) that were falling upon me, and right there in the sky, I swiftly cut those sky-faring missiles into two or three pieces with the arrows I released. Then, a roar arose in the atmosphere.
