महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-183, verse-12

तमब्रवीदृषिस्तत्र वचः क्रुद्धो महातपाः ।
मैवमत्रे पुनर्ब्रूया न ते प्रज्ञा समाहिता ।
अत्र नः प्रथमं स्थाता महेन्द्रो वै प्रजापतिः ॥१२॥

12. tamabravīdṛṣistatra vacaḥ kruddho mahātapāḥ ,
maivamatre punarbrūyā na te prajñā samāhitā ,
atra naḥ prathamaṁ sthātā mahendro vai prajāpatiḥ.

mahātapāḥ mā evam atre punaḥ brūyāḥ
na te prajñā samāhitā atra naḥ

12. There, the great ascetic sage, angered, spoke these words to him: "O Atri, you should not speak like this again; your intellect (prajñā) is not calm. Here, indeed, Mahendra, the creator (prajāpati), is established as our foremost [authority]."
