महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-161, verse-24

ते मातलेश्चक्रुरतीव हृष्टाः सत्कारमग्र्यं सुरराजतुल्यम् ।
सर्वं यथावच्च दिवौकसस्तान्पप्रच्छुरेनं कुरुराजपुत्राः ॥२४॥
24. te mātaleścakruratīva hṛṣṭāḥ; satkāramagryaṁ surarājatulyam ,
sarvaṁ yathāvacca divaukasastā;npapracchurenaṁ kururājaputrāḥ.
24. te mātaleḥ cakruḥ atīva hṛṣṭāḥ
satkāram agryam surarājatulyam
sarvam yathāvat ca divaukasaḥ
tān papracchuḥ enam kururājaputrāḥ
24. Exceedingly joyful, they (the Pāṇḍavas) offered Matali excellent hospitality, comparable to that shown to the king of gods (Indra). And the dwellers of heaven properly questioned them (the Pāṇḍavas) about everything, while the sons of the Kuru king (Pāṇḍavas) in turn questioned him (Matali).
