महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-141, verse-22

लोमश उवाच ।
तपसा शक्यते गन्तुं पर्वतो गन्धमादनः ।
तपसा चैव कौन्तेय सर्वे योक्ष्यामहे वयम् ॥२२॥
22. lomaśa uvāca ,
tapasā śakyate gantuṁ parvato gandhamādanaḥ ,
tapasā caiva kaunteya sarve yokṣyāmahe vayam.
22. lomaśa uvāca tapasā śakyate gantum parvataḥ gandhamādanaḥ
tapasā ca eva kaunteya sarve yokṣyāmahe vayam
22. Lomaśa said: 'One can go to Mount Gandhamādana through asceticism (tapas). And indeed, O son of Kuntī, all of us will engage in it through asceticism (tapas).'
