महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-120, verse-17

ततोऽनिरुद्धोऽप्यसिचर्मपाणिर्महीमिमां धार्तराष्ट्रैर्विसंज्ञैः ।
हृतोत्तमाङ्गैर्निहतैः करोतु कीर्णां कुशैर्वेदिमिवाध्वरेषु ॥१७॥
17. tato'niruddho'pyasicarmapāṇi;rmahīmimāṁ dhārtarāṣṭrairvisaṁjñaiḥ ,
hṛtottamāṅgairnihataiḥ karotu; kīrṇāṁ kuśairvedimivādhvareṣu.
17. tataḥ aniruddhaḥ api asi-carma-pāṇiḥ
mahīm imām dhārtarāṣṭraiḥ visamjñaiḥ
hṛtottamāṅgaiḥ nihataiḥ karotu
kīrṇām kuśaiḥ vedim iva adhvareṣu
17. Then let Aniruddha, with sword and shield in hand, make this earth strewn with the headless, slain, and unconscious sons of Dhritarashtra, just as a sacrificial altar is strewn with kusha grass in sacrifices.
