महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-120, verse-14

यथा प्रविश्यान्तरमन्तकस्य काले मनुष्यो न विनिष्क्रमेत ।
तथा प्रविश्यान्तरमस्य संख्ये को नाम जीवन्पुनराव्रजेत ॥१४॥
14. yathā praviśyāntaramantakasya; kāle manuṣyo na viniṣkrameta ,
tathā praviśyāntaramasya saṁkhye; ko nāma jīvanpunarāvrajeta.

kāle manuṣyaḥ na viniṣkrameta
tathā praviśya antaraṃ asya
saṅkhye kaḥ nāma jīvan punaḥ āvrajet
14. Just as a person, having entered the domain of Antaka (Death) at the fated time, cannot escape, so too, who indeed, having entered the space between his (Samba's) arms in battle, could return alive?
