महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-120, verse-11

प्रद्युम्नमुक्तान्निशितान्न शक्ताः सोढुं कृपद्रोणविकर्णकर्णाः ।
जानामि वीर्यं च तवात्मजस्य कार्ष्णिर्भवत्येष यथा रणस्थः ॥११॥
11. pradyumnamuktānniśitānna śaktāḥ; soḍhuṁ kṛpadroṇavikarṇakarṇāḥ ,
jānāmi vīryaṁ ca tavātmajasya; kārṣṇirbhavatyeṣa yathā raṇasthaḥ.
11. pradyumnamuktān niśitān na śaktāḥ
soḍhum kṛpadroṇavikarnakarṇāḥ
jānāmi vīryam ca tava ātmajasya
kārṣṇiḥ bhavati eṣa yathā raṇasthaḥ
11. Kṛpa, Droṇa, Vīkarṇa, and Karṇa are not able to withstand the sharp (arrows) released by Pradyumna. I know the prowess of your son (Pradyumna), this Kārṣṇi (son of Kṛṣṇa), and how he conducts himself on the battlefield.
