महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-116, verse-28

अपक्रान्तेषु चैतेषु जमदग्नौ तथागते ।
समित्पाणिरुपागच्छदाश्रमं भृगुनन्दनः ॥२८॥
28. apakrānteṣu caiteṣu jamadagnau tathāgate ,
samitpāṇirupāgacchadāśramaṁ bhṛgunandanaḥ.
28. apakrānteṣu ca eteṣu jamadagnau tathāgate
samitpāṇiḥ upāgacchat āśramam bhṛgunandanaḥ
28. And when those (Kshatriyas) had departed and Jamadagni had passed away, the son of Bhrigu (Paraśurāma), holding firewood in his hand, approached the hermitage.
