तमाश्रमपदं प्राप्तमृषेर्भार्या समर्चयत् ।
स युद्धमदसंमत्तो नाभ्यनन्दत्तथार्चनम् ॥२०॥

20. tamāśramapadaṁ prāptamṛṣerbhāryā samarcayat ,
sa yuddhamadasaṁmatto nābhyanandattathārcanam.

20. tam āśramapadam prāptam ṛṣeḥ bhāryā samarcayat saḥ
yuddhamadasaṃmattaḥ na abhyanandat tathā arcanam

20. Upon his arrival at the sage's hermitage (āśrama), the sage's wife honored him. However, he, intoxicated by the arrogance of battle, did not welcome that honor.
